Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager (IT)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Business Development Manager to drive business growth in the IT services domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, managing key accounts, and leading the sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for IT services (Web, Software, Mobile Apps, Digital Marketing, Cloud, etc.)
  • Generate leads through multiple channels: direct sales, networking, referrals, portals, and strategic partnerships
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations, and commercial agreements
  • Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
  • Act as a key point of contact for strategic and enterprise clients
  • Understand client requirements and coordinate with technical teams for solution delivery
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business

Strategy & Market Analysis

  • Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company goals
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and industry opportunities
  • Identify new verticals, geographies, and service offerings

Team Leadership & Reporting

  • Mentor and guide junior BDMs and sales executives
  • Set targets, monitor performance, and ensure achievement of KPIs
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of IT services, software development life cycle, and digital solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to close deals and achieve revenue targets
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting
  • Leadership and team-management capabilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field
  • MBA (Sales/Marketing) is a plus
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager in an IT company

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in IT sales, B2B sales, or enterprise sales
  • Exposure to international clients (US, UK, Middle East, etc.) is an advantage
  • Experience in handling complete sales cycles from lead generation to closure
