You will have to delete some of the old cascading style sheet files. Like color, layout and other CSS need to be deleted. Let me explain everything that has happened till now: In the new theme, you have created user style CSS file which is empty. You have to delete other cascading style sheet files because they may create problems. All editing should be done in the main config.php file so that you can get sure about the right editing being done. Here is the turn to produce some changes: Standard theme will act as the base theme and the autumn theme will work as parent theme. Make all possible changes to the user_style.css file so that you can visualize its effect on the theme. You should note it down that all, properties are being inherited from the autumn theme. This is the time for setup · You should open the website in the current MOODLE theme. · Now go the theme folder and open the CSS file. · Make the body background color black using CSS.· Refresh and you will find that color in the background has changed and this is what you were looking for. You should use background: #000000;} this is the color code of the black. Now examine what we have done till now? You have added color code in the CSS file which is background: #000000;}. Now new color is visible in the background so editing is before you. Firebug plays crucial role in the overall process.
This is the time for the final change:
· Open your LMS site with the theme that you are using.
· Click on the bug icon.
· Remember to click on the inspect element.
· You should check it properly that there should come an outline when you point your cursor on the header part.
· Open the firebug and check the code of the CSS. You have to edit mainly from the top portion.
· Copy the top lines from CSS.
· Now here is the main part.
Paste the copied code in the user_style.css in the bracket.
